Elements is a combat feature released after arcadia patch.

Elements is new stats that boosts your output damage by dealing elemental damage. There are 2 Type Elemental stats, which is: 

Elements work as flat damage bonus increase on output damage, that means dealing 50,000 damage to enemy with 5,000 Elemental attack will make your final damage into 55,000 damage. Which is gets better the more instance of hits your skill has.

+1 Rate / Resist is equal to 5%, it's just converted number
Elemental Damage = Elemental Attack Rate - Elemental Resistance Rate

Unlike most element on other game, Dragon saga element is very simple, it doesn't have advantage/disadvantage system meaning each element calculated with simple equation (fire atk - fire res and so on).

Elements matter in all contents ! in PvE it adds flat damage which is super strong against all mobs since it adds total flat damage. Most mobs doesn't have resistance over element so it values even more, while each boss has different resistance.

Elements on PvP is even more important ! Because of how pvp damage works, most of the time normal attack won't gives much damage, since most people stacks up HLT and Defense, this is where flat damage from element matters.

You can get Elements from various way, which is :

These points act as base stat so it is most important stats, you can gain up to 240 Elemental Points

You gain different points on certain level tiers.

Most of End Game Gear gives Elemental stats, either attack or resist

Current Gear Slot that has Elemental Stats is:

All Accessories (Neck/Belt/Ring/Earrings)

Each gear has dedicated elemental card slot, but each gear slot can only be socketed with one type of elemental card (either attack or resist). 

Attack = Weapon/OffHand/Gloves
/Boots/Neck/Ear/Belt

Attack (Ring) = Ring *Has different type card

For Obvious reason, the more element it covers, the less value it gives. But, since its additive calculation, the more elements is better on paper.

General Rule of Thumb is : Dual > All > Mono

Pros : Best damage output, Most end game boss weak to fire/ice, high resist against taiphoon on Dungeon of Destiny

Attack (Ring) Socket Card: Fire/Ice or Mono Fire or Mono Ice

Pros : Better damage output without sacrificing much overall resistance

Pros : Cheaper than other build, except single element, which is not recommended. Easier to get in the market, highest resistance

Elements Guide

Gear

Monster Card is one of feature introduced since early game. It's main purpose is to raise the level cap of certain skill (From Lv.5 to Lv.10).

There are 6 Grades of Monster Card, which is:

Monster Card only increases Skill Cap unlike Zodiac Skill Card or Skill IM Accessory, you need to spend skill points to upgrade Skill Lv.

You can get Monster Coin through Daily Quest Given from 

There are 3 Tier of Coins, everyday, you can get up to 2 Coins, Tier are depends on your Job Advancement Level:

Additionally, you can Downgrade your Tier Card to get lower tier card.

Note that you can't Upgrade your Coin Tier

You can also buy the monster card directly through Market if it's available.

First, you need to blend your card, you can use them after they reach 

You need :
64x Tier 3 Coins to max out Tier 1 Skill
128x Tier 3 Coins to max out Tier 2 Skill
256x Tier 3 Coins to max out Tier 3 Skill

You need Card Insurance Scroll to safely blend cards, without Card Insurance Scroll, your chance to succeed is only 33%, and guaranteed to break if you fail.

Card Insurance Scrolls Increases success chance to 50% and prevent the cards from breaking.

You need to prepare at least 100 Card Insurance Scrolls to confidently max them out (3200 IM).

Monster Card

Level

Currently Best in Slot End Game Gear for all classes, whether using 3/6 or 6/6 Set.

Currently, there is 3 way to craft Fifth Hero Gear :

Cheapest way to get Fifth Hero Gear, but the cons is you need a lot of time to craft one since Zodiac dungeon is time-gated.

This route requires you to completely finish Dungeon of Destiny Quest

There will be quest that gives you Fifth Hero Gear if you have soulbounded Protector of Star.

Fastest way to craft Fifth Hero Gear, but cheap or expensive heavily depends on class, popular class might end up very expensive and will have hard time finding desired part on market. Also Snow Dusts are pain since you need someone to help farm them.

Snow Dust Dropped from normal mobs after 2nd Boss

Have Soulbounded Ice Dragon Top/Bottom/Shoes/Gloves 
You will get all [Normal]Fifth Hero Armor including Back

Have Soulbounded Ice Dragon Helm/Shoulder/Weapon
You will get [Normal]Fifth Hero Weapon

This route is the most simple and cheaper if you are using popular class. Takes the least time needed to craft one (Best way for spenders). The only thing has to be farmed is Essence of Chaos, which is easier to get compared to Ice Route

This route only requires you to do Dungeon of Destiny Quest until you unlock the dungeon itself

This route is pretty simple, just collect all the essences needed and craft on NPC Tesler.

There is only 1 route to make [Normal] Version to [Hero], which is to farm via Essences Route

Fifth Hero Gear

Socket Card is one of feature that improves certain stat, each gear can have 1 socket card and 1 element socket card.

Socket Card provides player with certain bonuses, depending on gear, certain socket card type only can be equipped on its dedicated slot.

Star Grade has 3 Rarity Grade except 9*, example :
8*[Normal] > 8*[Advanced] > 8*[Special] > 9*[Special]

Generally, you want to keep 6* above of these type:

These Cards are worth to keep because they are currently used in most build.

Some Class is better with percentage Physical Attack Card, like Dragoon and Overlord since their weapon gives high attack

You can get Socket Card through Gwen at PoW Center, by trading some resources

The first method is still doable, but it is super long and costly to the point it is better to be just ignored.

Daily Quest helps you progress daily and to maintain your character progress by giving limited resources. It is important to not miss Daily Quest nevertheless

There is 3 NPC that offers Daily Quest, which is:

Guild Manager Dony (Equipments, Gold, Skill Point)

Monster Hunter G (Equipments, Gold, Skill Point)

There is 1 NPC in Vyvern Lounge (Port of Winds) that allows you to take all 3 Daily Quests in 1 NPC (Bulletin Board)

Doing all 3 Daily Quests will get you a lot of limited resources, such as:

2x Monster coin (Tier 1/2/3 Depends on level)

Broken Relic is currency used to trade up limited IM Stuffs

Eternal Coin is currency needed to trade up resources, mostly used along with Silver Coins

Daily Quest

Soul Gem is a feature similiar to socket card, mainly to reduces damage gap between min-max attack on weapon.

Soul Gems Has 2 different benefit that gives depending on content you running

Generally it increase minimum damage of the weapon, so technically you will gain more average attack. Min Damage increases depending on the class using the soul gems.

Instead of gaining Min Damage increase, in Expert Mode you gain EXP Bonus. Because of how Expert Mode Damage behavior changes, that is why expert mode gains exp bonus instead

You will Gain EXP Bonus depending on numbero of soul gem attached:

Note that you can only attach Soul Gems into Soulbounded Limited Weapon, on exception [Normal]Fifth Hero Weapon

You need to farm Devil's Soul Stone from Hidden Map (Scroll Map), the amount to farm is as per shown on the image.

Note that practically you will fail on some attempt, so you will need to farm more Devil's Soulstone than what is needed

You can Craft Soul Gem at NPC Baron on PoW near Blacksmith and Soulcraft Julie, or at Kazeura Village

use Insurance Scroll and Reinforced Insurance Scroll to protect your soul gems and Devil's Soul Stone, cause it is easier to get insurances than farming the entire Devil's Soul Stone.

Note that Using only Insurance only protects 50% of Devil's Soul Stone
While using both Insurance and Reinforced Insurance protects 75% of Devil's Soul Stone

Just like how Socket Card, you just need to right click the gem and insert your weapon. It is guaranteed to inject soul gem to weapon.

You can remove Soul Gem from weapon using Soul Gem Extractor, either you buy from Cash Shop or trade Soul Gem Extractor with ExCo (5 ExCo)

 Soul Gems, meaning you need 5 Extractors to completely extract all gems.

Soul Gem

New content added on Evolved Update, just like the name says it is a new difficulty added on current dungeon. The mobs and monster scales depending on party's weapon enchant.

Currently all dungeon has Expert Mode except these:

Mobs HP depends on character's weapon enchantment


Ideally you want your party to have same enchantment level (+20 recommended)


Meaning you will deal fixed range of damage scales based on your weapon enchantment (+0 means will always deal min, +20 will always deal max dmg)

Weapon Level and Character Level cannot exceed 15 level difference


You will get damage penalty and will heavily impact your performance
Every level difference will reduce your skill's fixed damage by 10%, up to 100% at 10 level difference ( e.g 240% + 


especially respawn-instance type like Water Temple, Magma Dungeon


Bigger party gives better EXP, 1/2/3/4 members gives +0/25/66/100% EXP bonus respectively


Soul Gem gives bonus EXP (+10/20/40/70/100% Respectively) instead of minimum damage, since min-max damage calculation depends on weapon's enchantment in Expert Mode

There are tons of benefit running expert mode, as in:

Huge EXP Reward
Mobs yield a lot of exp, because of this F7 has been replaced by expert mode instead

Double Clear Reward
Instead of getting 4 rewards, now you can get 8 in single run.1

Upgraded version of Dungeon's Gear
Most of them has [Best] tag on upgraded version, some gear are limited into expert mode only (e.g Red/Blue Paris Wing, Deckard Helmet)

Some notes on expert dungeon that is occasionally run

Good for low level player to rush level if they don't have gold issue, dungeon behavior doesn't change at all

Currently the best dungeon to leveling until you can run drakos comfortably, [Best]Mysterious Fog Cape can be used until Paris Wing

This is not recommended for level farm, as mobs density is not good, you spend more time walking than killing mobs. The reason people run Kundara is to get Aram's Belt of Perseverance / Wisdom, since you can't get rewards if you are high leveled, expert made it possible while giving you 8 rewards instead.

People still prefers Verdurous Forest since it doesnt take long per run and has better time windows for EXP potions. 

Dungeon's behavior changed as it starts at B10.

End Game Expert Mode dungeon. Known as ExCo, because it gives most exp while offering good limited reward that is considered Best in Slot (Paris Wing)

Gold is important currency to progress, most of upgrade stuff needs gold.

There is a lot of way to get golds, be it through in-game farming, or straight up selling Item Mall stuffs, it can be gain through NPC, or through selling to other Players using Market feature.

Doing Daily Quest to get Eternal Coins
Eternal Coins can be traded into Soul box that can be converted into Purification stones. Extra you can sell Hunter's Capsule at market.

Spam F1 or F2 1 Map Pine Cone Hills
Sell the earned equipments to NPC for raw Gold

Farming Elemental Bless
Doing Elemental dungeon and sells Elemental Bless to Market

Kundara Dungeon
Aram Belt of Perseverance and Aram Belt of Wisdom fetchs high price on Market

Galaxy Dungeon
Farms Concentrated Serpents Force and Zodiac Stones

Selling IM Points
This is the way of spenders to sell IM Points for gold. Usually COD or post in Market with certain rate (e.g 1:6, 1 IM Points for 6 Gold)

Spam F1 or F2 1 Map Verglas Ridge
Sell the earned equipments to NPC for raw Gold

 Van Cliff Dungeon
Has chance to drop Deckard Helmet

Drakos Tower
Technically you can farm Red/Blue Paris Wing, but most people will do it along with ExCo farm, so it's pretty unrealistic for pre-85 to go into Drakos Expert.

Spam F1 Forest Glade / Perimeter-B
Sell the earned equipments to NPC for raw Gold, sometimes you can try unseal weapon and sell good stats weapon to market instead.
*Note: Perimeter-B has chance to get 5* Earring (Eclipse/Solar) that fetch good prices.

Ice Dungeon
Certain class' Ice Gear sells at high price, also Neve's Essence also sells well

Dungeon of Destiny
Essences of Parmir/Belkan/Destiny sells at high price, also [Hero] Offhand fetchs at high price.

Pixel Dungeon
PATK/MATK Pixel Sells at high price for a short run dungeon compared to other end-game content.

Drakos Tower
Known as ExCo Farm, which is trading ExCo container earned into Every Elements Bless. Also chances to get Blue/Red Paris Wing.

This is one way to gain gold through AFK, by farming in Windy Farm

EXP Devices
EXP Devices is needed anytime, so its gonna fetch higher price the more stars u make

SoulCraft Expander
Soulcraft expanding is one of way to increase soulcraft effect, so it can be sells well.

SoulCraft Extractor
Good alternative to do profession with, 8* fetch quite high price.

There is Announcement that Profession system will be reworked, so at some point it's better to not do it if you just started.

Socket Card technically needs Farm to get, and most of the resources come from F1 Spam, so this is an addition bonus for Forest Glade Farm.

Cards need to be high star at least to be able to sell at market, so it takes luck to get good cards.

Gold Farming

Gold

Leveling is main and most important way to get stronger and unlocks more content, also some gear are locked behind level.

As per Evolved updates, Hero quest is more important than ever, so you 

finish all Hero Quest available to progress. Without clearing Hero quest, you can't do latter content.

Odellia's Basic Quest (SoulCraft/Enchant/Cook)

Do Hero Quest all the way, if you ever stuck or run out of Hero Quest, do respective level of Side Quest, this is the most efficient way as spamming f1 is pretty slow.

Spam F1 or F2 1 Map Pine Cone Hills, this method not only gives you decent exp, but also gives you good amount of entry level gold so you can have better gear and QoL to progress

 Undeground Graveyard Lv 35+. This is alternative if you are leveling alt and doesn't care about gold and have decent gear, preferrably in party since how exp bonus works on Expert mode Dungeon.

 Verdurous Forest. This is the best way to rush level, but do take notes Expert dungeon needs you to have proper gear, especially +20 Weapon. Recommended to do with parties

 way to level up your character. Sadly, it's practically unaccessible to non-85 player, as most people running Drakos is lv 85 with mid-end gear. This is possible if you got strong friend/guidlmates that willing to carry you. 

Spam F1 Verglas Ridge (Kyros). This yields decent amount of gold and exp while helping you build gear better.

Arcadia Hero Quest. Technically end-game hero quest, needs proper +20 Weapon to clear faster or parties, but still do-able solo. Finishing this quest will rush you to lv 85.

Do Quests on weekdays, while doing dungeon spam/expert on weekend for maximum efficiency

Use at least +20 Weapon (Read Expert Modes Guide)

Use Double EXP Potion (10 mins.). From Vending Machine on PoW Center

Biscuit 1.9x EXP (30 mins.). From cooking with biscuit recipes (from event or buy through market)

*1 - *8 EXP Devices (30 mins.). From Professions or market (Check Level requirement before buying !)

Jack's Bean. This can be either purchased from Cash Shop or free [Event] version from job change.

 Jack's Bean, because of EXP Potion Restriction, best to use on respective sequence of this notes.

we are proud to announce that we are able to provide our game client in 5 different languages now:



Quest titles, item names, location names, achievements and monster names are intentionally kept in the original english language for better community communication. Furthermore it is only possible to search the open market using the original english item names. Also words which are shown as images have 

 been translated.

Please know that all languages except of the original English one have been 

 and may contain grammatical and contextual mistakes or inconsistences. 

If you come across any of those inconsistences please let us know.


Currently we are only offering the Patch Notes and in-game Newsfeed in English language but this shall change within the next weeks. We are planning to provide Patch Notes in all 5 languages and the in-game newsfeed shall be shown in the selected client language.



Please note that we are currently in a QA testing phase for the multilanguage update and you all are invited to try the new languages out and report problems, mistakes, etc. The official launch of the multilanguage client will follow at a later time.

The patching process will be a bit different this time. When the maintenance is finished and the servers have been opened start the patcher as usual. The patcher will start a patching process and after this patching process is done click on "Game Start" as always.
The game will 

 start, instead a new Patcher screen will come up and shows an agreement. Please read the agreement and check the "I agree" checkbox and click on the "Continue" button. The new patcher loader will download a new release of the DragonSaga client patcher and will start it afterwards. The agreement is only shown once per installation.
This new client patcher provides the possibility to select the language your client will start with by clicking on the flag at the patcher top area you want the client to be started in. If you already selected a different language at the agreement screen this language will be set as default language when the new client patcher starts for the first time. 

Please note that you can only change your client language at the patcher screen and not in-game!

Starting with the update to the multilanguage game client the DragonSaga team has decided that in the 

 is allowed to use anymore. This decision will help to improve the community interaction and to reduce toxicity and insults using non-English languages which cannot be understood by everyone.
The only excpetion to this rule is for 

. For multilanguage guilds we recommend using English announcements.



Breaking this new rule will have the following consequences for the person using a non-English language:

. Friend Chat, Regular Chat and Guild Chat as well as whispers and 1:1 chats stay unaffected.

To celebrate the start of the multilanguage client QA testing phase and to shorten your waiting time until our Easter Cherry Blossom event starts next week we are having a 2.5x bonus EXP event starting today, March 30 and ending on Sunday, April 2.
