Soul Gem Guide

Soul Gem is a feature similiar to socket card, mainly to reduces damage gap between min-max attack on weapon.

How Does it Work?

Soul Gems Has 2 different benefit that gives depending on content you running

Increase Min Damage

Generally it increase minimum damage of the weapon, so technically you will gain more average attack. Min Damage increases depending on the class using the soul gems.

Increase EXP Gain (EXPERT MODE ONLY)

Instead of gaining Min Damage increase, in Expert Mode you gain EXP Bonus. Because of how Expert Mode Damage behavior changes, that is why expert mode gains exp bonus instead

You will Gain EXP Bonus depending on numbero of soul gem attached:

• No Soul Gem: No Bonus EXP (duh)
• 1 Soul Gem: +10% Bonus EXP
• 2 Soul Gems: +20% Bonus EXP
• 3 Soul Gems: +40% Bonus EXP
• 4 Soul Gems: +70% Bonus EXP
• 5 Soul Gems: +100% Bonus EXP

Note that you can only attach Soul Gems into Soulbounded Limited Weapon, on exception [Normal]Fifth Hero Weapon

How to make Soul Gem?

1. Farm Devil's Soul Stone

You need to farm Devil's Soul Stone from Hidden Map (Scroll Map), the amount to farm is as per shown on the image.

Note that practically you will fail on some attempt, so you will need to farm more Devil's Soulstone than what is needed

2. Craft at NPC Baron

You can Craft Soul Gem at NPC Baron on PoW near Blacksmith and Soulcraft Julie, or at Kazeura Village

You MUST use Insurance Scroll and Reinforced Insurance Scroll to protect your soul gems and Devil's Soul Stone, cause it is easier to get insurances than farming the entire Devil's Soul Stone.

Note that Using only Insurance only protects 50% of Devil's Soul Stone
While using both Insurance and Reinforced Insurance protects 75% of Devil's Soul Stone

How To Equip Soul Gem?

Just like how Socket Card, you just need to right click the gem and insert your weapon. It is guaranteed to inject soul gem to weapon.

How To Remove Soul Gem

You can remove Soul Gem from weapon using Soul Gem Extractor, either you buy from Cash Shop or trade Soul Gem Extractor with ExCo (5 ExCo)

Note That it only removes LOWEST Soul Gems, meaning you need 5 Extractors to completely extract all gems.
